Memorial or honorary gifts. These are a thoughtful way to recognize a loved one or friend, or celebrate a special occasion. Memorial gifts pay tribute to the memory of a loved one, co-worker or friend. Your gift will be formally acknowledged and the family of the deceased will be notified. Honorary gifts are a unique way to celebrate a special occasion – a birthday, wedding, anniversary, or a thank you. We acknowledge your gift as well as notify the honoree of your kind gesture. Planned or legacy gifts. By leaving a gift to Housing Assistance Corporation in your will or other estate planning your legacy will be a gift that continues to give well into the future. Learn more.
Stock & security. By making a gift of appreciated securities, you avoid capital gains tax and may use the full value of the gift as a tax deduction. It is simple to make a gift of stock to HAC. Special and Community events Special events are an important component of our giving program. They provide substantial funds and serve as a way for people to support HAC and our programs while they enjoy themselves at the same time! Our main events are the Housing With Love Walk in July and the NOAH Telethon in December. Funding and Community Support
Thanks to the support of our community, Housing Assistance Corporation assisted thousands of households each year. We receive over $1 million annually through individuals, corporations, faith-based organizations, and private foundations. Because of private contributions HAC is the place that people come to for services and solutions – whether it’s a single mother who suddenly finds herself homeless, or a client in one of our job-training programs who dreams of buying a house, or families who need weatherization assistance to keep warm. When it comes to ensuring that people on Cape Cod and the Islands have a safe, decent, stable place to live, Housing Assistance Corporation is the place.
