Congratulations to John and Maureen Allen, who won HAC’s tree in the Spectacle of Trees. Along with the tree, they won $5,000 in prizes. The tree’s theme was “Home Is Where the Heart Is.”

Featuring Christmas trees decorated by 17 Cape Cod nonprofits, including HAC, the Spectacle of Trees was on display at the JFK Museum in Hyannis. Raffle tickets or “tree bucks” were available for $10 each. Winners were chosen in a drawing, and all of the money from the sale of tree bucks went to the nonprofits.

Gifts for the winner of HAC’s “Home Is Where the Heart Is” tree were an Apple iPad, two round-trip tickets on Nantucket Airlines between Nantucket and Hyannis, Home Depot gift cards ($400), a Best Buy gift card ($250), Spencer Hallett Plumbing & Heating gift certificate ($500), a “House Wash” by Stewart Painting gift certificate ($250), Fairway Millwork (home improvement products) gift certificate ($200), an associate membership at Hyannis Yacht Club’s fine dining restaurant, The Captain’s Table, four 30 minute “At Home Personal Trainer Sessions” with Julie Johnson, a one year adult YMCA membership, Hanlon Shoes gift certificates ($200), a Copper Onion Lamp donated by Nauset Lantern Shop, three Barnstable Harbor Ecotours for two, a Home Depot gift card ($100) donated by Brown Lindquist Fenuccio & Raber Architects, Smith’s Time Shop gift certificate ($100), Stanley Steemer Cape Cod gift certificate ($200), Hy-Line Cruises gift certificate and Riverway Lobster House & Wimpy’s Café gift certificates.

Thanks to our friends at Emerald Physicians for sponsoring HAC’s tree.
