A full-time staff position responsible for the provision of services to tenants and landlords participating in rental assistance programs. Responsibilities include: maintaining client files; negotiating leases and contracts; mediating for landlords and tenants; and providing information to applicants, property owners, other agencies, and the general public.
The ideal candidate must have exceptional organizational and time-management skills; above average oral and written communication skills; the ability to meet deadlines; be able to comprehend and utilize complex program regulations and procedures; and be sensitive to confidential issues and to the needs of low-income households. Two years relevant experience is preferred.

A full-time position exists to work directly with homeless individuals across the Cape. The primary role of the Outreach Specialist is to provide referrals and coordination services to increase support and follow-through with individuals who are currently experiencing housing instability. This is a collaborative role that will work directly with individuals and support agencies to stabilize crisis situations and to secure housing. The Outreach Specialist meets directly with homeless clients, completes a needs assessment, and assists the individual with completing referrals to needed services.
The successful candidate will have experience in the human services field working directly with clients, and have a dedication to assisting individuals who are experiencing homelessness. The Outreach Specialist will work under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Family and Individuals Services.

This position will provide clerical support to the Leased Housing Department which administers state and federal subsidies to households on the Cape and Islands.
Responsibilities include compiling monthly reports, managing department calendars, data entry, and file management. We are looking for a high-energy person who enjoys working both independently and as a member of a team. Computer skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail are essential to the position. This is a 25-hour per week position which includes rotating Saturdays, from 9 am to noon.

CHILD SERVICE ASSISTANT
A full-time hourly position exists to enhance the lives of children living with a parent in recovery from substance use disorders. Working at a Hyannis-based family residential treatment program, the Child Service Assistant is responsible for supporting the children's portion of the family service plan. This position assists with providing staff coverage to the onsite Child Service Center for children under the age of 5, staff support on-site and off-site programming for children under the age of 18, and provides direct care to children.
The hours to this position are: 10:30 am to 6 pm, Tuesday-Friday, and 1-6 pm on Saturdays. Hourly rate is $13 an hour.
The successful candidate is someone who is detail-oriented, organized, consistent, and compassionate. Experience working with children, a valid MA driver's license, and ability to drive a 15-passenger van is required. The Child Services Assistant will work under the supervision of the Child Services Coordinator and the Program Director.

VILLAGE AT CATAUMET SHELTER SUPPORT STAFF (PART-TIME)
HAC is looking for support staff for nights, weekends, and holidays/per diem for our family homeless shelter located in Bourne. The shelter serves families who are experiencing homelessness and helps them to stabilize their housing situation.
Qualified applicants will have an interest or experience working with families in crisis; be dependable and reliable; and be able to follow shelter procedures. The following shifts are currently available:
- Saturdays, 8 am-8 pm; Saturdays, noon-midnight
- Sundays, 8 am-8 pm; Sundays, noon-midnight
- Monday-Friday evening shifts, 4-8 pm and 4 pm-midnight
- Holiday coverage
Shelter support staff reports to the Shelter Director.
