MEDICATION COORDINATOR/RECOVERY SPECIALIST

A 25-hour position exists to enhance the recovery potential of families experiencing substance use disorders without permanent housing. This position is Monday through Friday, noon to 5 pm. The Medication Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all medication distributed onsite and ensuring program documentation is completed for program clients. No medical training is required. 

The job requirements consist of picking up medication from the pharmacy and packing medication with program clients on an as-needed basis. The program needs someone who is detail-oriented, organized, consistent, and compassionate. MAP training and experience working in a recovery environment is a plus! The Medication Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Program Director. The rate of pay is $16-$18 per hour.

SUPPORTIVE SERVICES CASE MANAGER

Housing Assistance Corporation is looking for a part-time, 14 hours per week, Supportive Services Case Manager to work with families in Hyannis. The Case Manager will work with an identified population of families who are seeking assistance with engaging in services; need help with budgeting and accessing financial resources; and likely have a history of homelessness or housing instability.

Qualified applicants will have experience working collaboratively with social service providers, be able to engage with others in a compassionate, motivating style, and be knowledgeable about local resources. Experience working with high-risk families is a plus. This position will report to the Family Services Supervisor. Pay range is $18 to $21 an hour.

SUPPORT STAFF AND AWAKE OVERNIGHT STAFF (FULL-TIME)

Our residential family shelter for women recovering from substance abuse and their children has a full-time opening for evening and awake overnight support staff. Position hours are Saturdays, 5 pm to 8 am; Mondays 5 pm to 8 am; and Wednesdays, 10 pm to 8 am. This position supports the program by providing essential staff coverage which includes program support and house monitoring. 

Qualified candidates will have experience working in or interest working in recovery-focused environments. Candidate must show they have working experience being creative, compassionate, computer literate, and detail-oriented. This position will report to the Program Director.

This position is benefit-eligible, including health, dental, 403(b), life insurance, long-term disability, and paid time off. INTAKE COORDINATOR/RECEPTIONIST

The Intake Coordinator/Receptionist position is responsible for greeting HAC clients and visitors upon entry to HAC's office at 460 West Main Street in Hyannis. This position will ensure that all visitors meet with the appropriate staff in a timely manner. The Intake Coordinator/Receptionist will answer incoming phones and distribute all incoming correspondence; collect and enter client data into appropriate software systems; ensure that customer service practices are providing a positive customer experience and are aligned with company values; and provides triage and initial information and referral services to clients. 

Qualifications for this position include the ability to capture and enter client information in electronic databases; strong interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to be compassionate; the ability to interact with high risk clients while being respectful and keeping appropriate boundaries. 

This position requires the ability to work until 6 pm, Monday through Thursday, and a half-day on Saturday as part of a rotating schedule. This position reports to the Information and Client Services Manager.

SHELTER SUPPORT STAFF 

Housing Assistance Corporation (HAC) is looking for support staff for overnights, weekends, holidays, and per diem for our family homeless shelters in the Falmouth/Bourne area. Our shelters serve families who are experiencing homelessness and help them to stabilize their housing situation. 

Qualified applicants will have an interest or experience working with families in crisis, be dependable and reliable, and be able to follow shelter procedures. Various shifts are available. Support staff report to the Shelter Director.
