DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT
HAC is seeking a director for our Housing Development Department. This person will be responsible for the agency's affordable housing projects and for management and maintenance of a small number of HAC-owned properties. Responsibilities include: collecting rent; developing capital budgets; working with project partners and consultants; development and management of project budgets; preparation of applications for funding; coordinating the work of architects, engineers, and attorneys; and overseeing the permitting, zoning, and contractor selection process.
The successful candidate must work well with people; be skilled at prioritizing and organizing; and have a wide range of computer skills including an in-depth knowledge of spreadsheets.

DIRECTOR OF ENERGY PROGRAMS
HAC is seeking a person to manage its energy programs. The Energy Department implements energy-saving measures in houses occupied by low-income residents on the Cape and the Islands, using public and/or energy company funds. The successful candidate must have a passion for and an understanding of residential energy efficiency as well as experience managing highly regulated programs. Contract, budget and personnel management are all key aspects of the job. Ability to meet production, budget and energy-saving goals are the primary measures of success.

COORDINATOR OF HOMELESS PREVENTION SERVICES
HAC is seeking a coordinator for our homeless prevention services. This position is responsible for supervising staff in the process of administering private and public funds intended to reduce homelessness among families on the Cape and Islands. Responsibilities include working directly with clients and managing the overall homeless prevention program. The successful candidate must be good working with people; must be skilled at prioritizing and organizing; and must have well-developed computer skills and a passion for helping people in need.

HAC has an opening for a part-time administrative assistant in a busy property management office. This person will be responsible for all clerical and administrative tasks within the department, including processing purchase orders for payments; ordering supplies; overseeing office equipment maintenance; direct interaction with tenants; record keeping and file maintenance. This position requires strong computer skills (including Excel and Word) and excellent writing skills. We are looking for a person with strong organizational skills, a passion for details and excellent interpersonal skills. Twenty hours per week; flexible hours.

CASE MANAGER/RECOVERY SPECIALIST
The Angel House Family Recovery Program is seeking candidates for the position of Case Manager/Recovery Specialist. Primary responsibilities include providing service planning and ongoing case management for mothers and their children. Candidates must have experience, knowledge and understanding of families facing multiple issues, including addiction and homelessness. This position consists of up to 25 hours per week. A valid driver’s license is required.

The primary responsibility of the case manager is to provide family assessment, service planning and ongoing case management for sheltered parents and children participating in a family shelter program. Knowledge of existing human service network is preferred. HAC is looking for general contractors to conduct home repairs to income-eligible properties in the town of Yarmouth. The type of work will include: building envelope and site work, roofing, siding, window replacement, electrical, plumbing and installation of smoke alarms, sprinklers and other fire suppression systems. Contractors must have a valid Contractor Supervisor license and/or a Home Improvement Contractor license. Contractors are required to submit estimates and complete work in accordance with an approved scope of work. All work must be in compliance with building codes.
Positions are available in a residential family shelter program serving families without permanent housing and families in recovery. Ideal candidates will have experience, knowledge and understanding of families with multiple problems and be sensitive to the needs of homeless families. Prior work experience and knowledge of community resources is desirable. The program has day, evening and weekend shifts available. Valid driver’s license required.
