HOUSING SEARCH SPECIALIST
A full-time position is available to assist individuals in locating and maintaining affordable housing. The specialist will work in coordination with the staff and the services provided by HAC and the NOAH Shelter. Primary responsibilities include individual assessment of needs and placement into appropriate housing options, contact with landlords and various agencies, showing rooms and apartments to clients, and helping with housing applications. The position requires being proactive and good relational, organizational, and time management skills. A valid driver’s license is required.

CHILD SERVICE ASSISTANT
HAC is seeking a Child Service Assistant to provide direct care and age-appropriate programming for infants, toddlers and children with health, developmental and environmental issues in a therapeutic setting for those affected by substance abuse and other complex trauma. We are seeking a dedicated, consistent team player who is enthusiastic and willing to learn approaches and methods of Trauma Informed Care for children and families. This part-time position is available in Hyannis and consists of 25 hours per week. Driver’s license required.

HAC is looking for general contractors to conduct home repairs to income-eligible properties in the town of Yarmouth. The type of work will include: building envelope and site work, roofing, siding, window replacement, electrical, plumbing and installation of smoke alarms, sprinklers and other fire suppression systems. Contractors must have a valid Contractor Supervisor license and/or a Home Improvement Contractor license. Contractors are required to submit estimates and complete work in accordance with an approved scope of work. All work must be in compliance with building codes.
Positions are available in a residential family shelter program serving families without permanent housing and families in recovery. Ideal candidates will have experience, knowledge and understanding of families with multiple problems and be sensitive to the needs of homeless families. Prior work experience and knowledge of community resources is desirable. The program has day, evening and weekend shifts available. Valid driver’s license required.
