FAMILY SHELTER CASE MANAGER

Housing Assistance Corporation (HAC) is currently hiring a full-time, benefit-eligible family shelter Case Manager at our family homeless shelter located in Hyannis. This position will work directly with clients to identify housing barriers, assist with housing search activities, and complete required state documentation. 

From assessment to placement, the case manager will be responsible for assisting families with budgeting, monitoring completion of required tasks, and supporting efforts to secure long-term secure housing. Qualified candidates will have experience working with homeless or low-income families, be team oriented, and have experience identifying community resources. A bachelor's degree in a human services field is a plus! This position will report to the Director of Scattered Sites.

CASE MANAGER/RECOVERY SPECIALIST/OFFICE SUPPORT

A full-time position exists to enhance the recovery potential of families without permanent housing. This position works to develop and implement a service plan with families to increase skills and competency; to support recovery efforts and program compliance; and to provide program support.

Qualified candidates will have experience working in recovery-focused environments. Candidate must show they have working experience being creative, compassionate, computer literate, and detail-oriented. This position requires an active LADC/CADC, equivalent education, or personal recovery experience. This position will provide case management, recovery support, and program support under the supervision of the Clinical Director and Program Director.

MEDICATION COORDINATOR

A 25-hour position exists to enhance the recovery potential of families experiencing substance use disorders without permanent housing. The Medication Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all medication distributed onsite and ensuring program documentation is completed. 

The program needs someone who is detail-oriented, organized, consistent, and compassionate for a residential facility that has functioned as a role model for 20 years. MAP training and experience working in a recovery environment is a plus! The Medication Coordinator will work  under the supervision of the Program Director.

INTAKE COORDINATOR

Housing Assistance Corporation has a full-time intake coordinator position available in its Leased Housing Department. This position is responsible for determining program eligibility for Section 8 and MRVP and maintains waitlists for these programs. 

This position prepares and conducts briefings for new applicants, and maintains up-to-date statistics on results of a selection to pull from the waitlist. Requirements include exceptional organizational and time-management skills, strong written communication skills, the ability to meet deadlines, the ability to comprehend and utilize complex program regulations and procedures, and the ability to be sensitive to confidential issues and to the needs of households with low-income.

PERMANENT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING CASE MANAGER

Housing Assistance Corporation is hiring for the position of Permanent Supportive Housing Case Manager. The primary role of the case manager is to provide wrap-around case management services to increase support and follow-through with individuals who were previously homeless. This position will provide housing search activities; stabilization; and case management services to program participants. 

Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, or a related field, a valid MA driver's license, and the ability to become First Aid/CPR certified. Experience working with a similar population and case management is a plus. This is an hourly full-time position that reports to the Assistant Director of Family and Individual Services.

SUPPORT STAFF AND AWAKE OVERNIGHT STAFF

Our residential family shelter for women recovering from substance abuse and their children has openings for day, evening, and awake overnight support staff.

Qualified candidates will have experience working in or interest working in recovery-focused environments. Candidate must show they have working experience being creative, compassionate, computer literate, and detail-oriented. This position will report to the Program Director.

SHELTER SUPPORT STAFF 

Housing Assistance Corporation (HAC) is looking for support staff for overnights, weekends, holidays, and per diem for our family homeless shelters in the Falmouth/Bourne area. Our shelters serve families who are experiencing homelessness and help them to stabilize their housing situation. 

Qualified applicants will have an interest or experience working with families in crisis, be dependable and reliable, and be able to follow shelter procedures. Various shifts are available. Support staff report to the Shelter Director.
