DIRECT CARE STAFF (FULL-TIME & PART-TIME POSITIONS)
HAC's NOAH Shelter is seeking applications for Direct Care staff positions to fill evening and overnight shifts. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and clean shelter for approximately 50 clients per night as well as implementation of program policies.
Excellent written communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and limit-setting skills are essentialy for this position. Data entry and basic computer skills are required. OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR/RECOVERY SPECIALIST
HAC's Angel House Family Recovery Program is seeking candidates for the position of Office Administrator/Recovery Specialist. The primary responsibilities for this position include: coordinating all children's activities and programs; menu planning and food shopping; and coordinating property maintenance and ordering supplies for the program site. The position will also support and assist program staff in Angel House's daily operations, including the coordination of volunteer positions within the program.
Candidates must have experience with Word; excellent interpersonal skills; and prior work experience with substance abuse disorders and shelter programs. Knowledge of community resources is desired. This is a full-time position consisiting of 35 hours per week with benefits. A valid driver's license is required.

HAC is looking for general contractors to conduct home repairs to income-eligible properties in the town of Yarmouth. The type of work will include: building envelope and site work, roofing, siding, window replacement, electrical, plumbing and installation of smoke alarms, sprinklers and other fire suppression systems. Contractors must have a valid Contractor Supervisor license and/or a Home Improvement Contractor license. Contractors are required to submit estimates and complete work in accordance with an approved scope of work. All work must be in compliance with building codes.
Positions are available in a residential family shelter program serving families without permanent housing and families in recovery. Ideal candidates will have experience, knowledge and understanding of families with multiple problems and be sensitive to the needs of homeless families. Prior work experience and knowledge of community resources is desirable. The program has day, evening and weekend shifts available. Valid driver’s license required.
