Volunteer Opportunities
There are numerous volunteer opportunities at HAC-everything from serving meals to shelter guests, doing clerical work at the main office to helping at fund-raising events. Below are a specific volunteer opportunities. For more information e-mail volunteer@haconcapecod.org
Clerical Help
HAC is looking for a number of regular volunteer to help with clerical work including filing, data input and writing purchase orders. Anyone interested is asked to contact Margaret Beneka at 508-771-5400 x272 or mbeneka@haconcapecod.org
Volunteers wanted with Strong Arms and Pick Up Trucks
Our shelter program needs volunteers to help with HAC's furniture warehouse. HAC gets donations of furniture and uses these donations for people moving out of shelter. Anyone interested in helping is asked to call 508-771-5400 x351 and leave a message with your name and phone number.

Job Opportunities
CASE MANAGER
The primary responsibility is to provide family assessment, service planning and on-going case management for sheltered parents and children. Knowledge of existing human service network preferred. Candidates must have experience, knowledge and understanding of families with multiple problems and be sensitive to the needs of families without permanent housing. Valid driver’s license required.

Substitute shift workers
NOAH Services Center
These direct care positions for evenings and overnight shifts pay $10.39 per hour to start. Interested applicants should have a desire to help others and be able to communicate in a caring manner.
