Two volunteers needed to help with housing stabilization

Duties to include checking in on clients who recently moved from shelter into permanent housing. The focus would be twofold: encouragement and reconnaissance.  Most clients can be reached by phone, however a brief visit may be appropriate periodically.  Each volunteer will be given a case load of ten clients to contact bi-weekly (they will have the same ten clients for six month commitment).   Volunteers will meet bi-monthly with HAC’s Housing Stabilization Specialist to report how the clients are doing.

Volunteers will be subject to a CORI check.

2-3 hours per month for 6 months.  After six months volunteers will be offered a new case load.

Email mbenaka@haconcapecod.org or call Margaret Benaka at 508-771-5400 ext. 272 for an interview.

Volunteers wanted with Strong Arms and Pick Up Trucks
