Director of Energy & Home Repair

Housing Assistance Corporation, a regional nonprofit housing agency serving Cape Cod and the Islands, seeks an experienced person to manage all aspects of energy conservation initiatives for low-income households, including utility programs.

The Director will be responsible for managing the program, including staff supervision, production goals, quality controls, subcontractor relations and the marketing of client services. The Director will also be expected to actively solicit new opportunities to provide service to low-income clients and to participate actively in the statewide network of energy conservation services for low-income clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated person.

While a BA in a related field is desirable, work experience may serve as a substitute. Candidate must have had experience in energy conservation program management. Candidate must be proficient in heating system evaluation and energy auditing. State certification as a WAP auditor is desirable. Excellent writing and verbal skills as well as computer literacy are required.

Foreclosure Prevention Counselor

This position will give you the opportunity to work with a dedicated staff in helping those who have been affected by the recent foreclosure crises on Cape Cod. This full time position can be extremely flexible based on the employee’s and client’s time restraints. The ideal candidate will have some loss mitigation experience, be detailed orientated, a skilled problem solver, negotiator and communicator. Specified training regarding the foreclosure process is available.

Case Manager

The primary responsibility is to provide family assessment, service planning and on-going case management for sheltered parents and children. Knowledge of existing human service network preferred. Candidates must have experience, knowledge and understanding of families with multiple problems and be sensitive to the needs of families without permanent housing. Valid driver’s license required.

PART TIME DATA ADMINISTRATOR

This position will work with local providers to track families and individuals that are homeless or are assisted to prevent homelessness. The Data Administrator will work with the HMIS
 

Coordinator to train and recruit new area providers, monitor data input, act as help desk for area providers, prepare reports and attend meetings as necessary. The ideal candidate must enjoy working independently and accepting responsibility. Strong people and computer skills are required. Valid driver’s license is required.
